Mth 277 Multivariable Calculus

This course begins with a study of functions of several variables. We introduce the concepts of partial derivatives, directional derivatives, and gradients. We next proceed to using double and triple integrals to find the mass, moments and center of gravity of bounded quadratic surfaces. Math 277 also includes the study of convergent / divergent sequences and series. Finally, we investigate the divergence and curl of vector fields with an emphasis on fluid dynamics.
