Mth 175 Calculus of One Variable I

Math 175 is a three credit course designed for engineering/computer science majors. There will be a lecture and computer lab segment

Calc I covers limits, continuity, differentiation of algebraic as well as trancendental functions ( exponential, logarithmic, inverse trig ,hyperbolic trig ), implicit differentiation, related rate / extrema word problems, and closes with an introduction to integration. We will cover chapters 1 - 4.

The computer algebra system MAPLE will be used.
