The Civil War is a deep subject; you can't know everything about it, and we can't test everything you know. These study guides list what each test will cover. Tests will have a combination of multiple-choice and essay questions (see sample questions). |
| If this is your first online course, the number one piece of advice I have is to approach it like a traditional course. Set aside a regular time to study each week and follow schedule. Online courses are not necessarily any easier or harder than classroom courses, they're just different: more responsibility is placed on students to be organized, self-disciplined, and to understand the course content without the professor explaining everything. [See Study Tips.] Wondering too much about what might be on the tests can inhibit learning, but it's only natural. These study guides should help. Preparation is the key to success on the tests.
