Involved in plot to kidnap Lincoln; apprehended with Booth in Virginia; executed July 7, 1865

 

Part of plot to kidnap Lincoln; tried to murder Seward; hanged on July 7, 1865.

Her boarding house was frequented by Confederate spies and Booth's co-conspirators; believed to have known about Booth's plots; hanged on July 7, 1865.

 

Conspired with Booth to kidnap Lincoln; sentenced to life in prison; pardoned in 1869.

Aided Booth's escape; sentenced to life in prison; pardoned in 1869.

 

Conspired with Booth; sentenced to life in prison; died of yellow fever at Fort Jefferson, Key West, on September 23, 1867.

 

Employed at Ford's Theater; helped Booth escape (perhaps unwittingly); sentenced to 6 years in prison; pardoned in 1869.
