VWCC performs street sweeping on a regular schedule. Street sweeping will be preformed indefinitely to maintain a clean and safe campus environment. By removing debris on a regular basis VWCC has been able to minimize a need to clean structural BMP’s on campus.

 

Virginia Western Community College has a limited volume of chemicals present on campus. All vehicle maintenance is preformed off-site. VWCC will be developing specific procedures to respond to a small volume of chemical spills.

VWCC is working with Clean Valley Council and local authorities to provide support for the Regional Household Hazardous Waste Collection Days. VWCC will solicit assistance from students and faculty to participate in scheduled events and will post information on the website about future events.
