All periodicals in Brown Library are kept on the main floor. These include magazines, journals and newspapers. In the past, these periodicals have been reference only and were not available to check out. Starting this term, we are now allowing a selected list of magazines to be checked out for a two-week period.

Please be aware that certain types of periodicals do not check out. These include:

• Journals
• Bound volumes
• Current issues

Policies:
It is important that these policies be followed so that circulating periodicals can be tracked and checked in properly.

• The checkout limit is five issues
• The replacement cost is $5.00 per issue
• The circulation period is two weeks
• A valid library card or picture id is required for check out
• Return to reference desk on main floor.
• Do not remove circulation sticker.
