Books:
Brown Library has
collected a number of books from various series that focus
on controversial topics. These books are located on
the top floor.
- At Issue - There are twenty five
books in this series.
- Contemporary Controversies -
Topics include sports and food.
- Exploring Science and Medical
Discoveries - Topics in this series include vaccines, cloning,
space exploration, and antibiotics.
- Fact or Fiction? - Topics in
this series include ghosts & poltergeists, haunted houses,
mysterious monsters, life after death, and
possessions & exorcisms. Ask your instructor first before
using books in this series.
- Opposing Viewpoints
- This is a list of books in the Opposing Viewpoints Series that
was compiled before we got the online database. From the list
you can go to a table of contents for each book. This list is no
longer being updated but can still be used as a source of ideas.
- Contemporary World Issues -
There are thirty four books in this series. These books are good sources for statistics.
- Library in a Book - There are
nine books in this series. These books are good
sources for statistics.
