Library of Congress Outline

This is an outline of the Library of Congress call number classification system. Single letters represent broad topic areas. Double letters represent more specialized topic areas. For a more detailed outline visit the Library of Congress on the web. While the Library of Congress system is used at academic libraries, public libraries tend to use the Dewey Decimal System.
