Laura Milliman is your reference librarian. She is available to help you from 8:00 to 4:00 Monday through Friday. For help with research and writing questions please give her a call at 540-857-6509.

Alternatively, you ask Laura a reference question by filling in a form. She will get back to you by the end of the next business day. For immediate help on evenings and weekends please call the library information number at 540-857-7303.

In addition, the Virginia Community College System (which includes VWCC and 22 other colleges) has started a reference chat service called LRC Live.  At selected times during the week VCCS librarians are available online for consultation.

There is a librarian on duty at the reference desk during all the hours that the library is open. You are always welcome to stop by the library or call us. Face-to-face and voice-to-voice communication is still strongly encouraged!
