Eudora may fill your In-box with old messages that you have already deleted.

This rarely happens, but if it does, your only option is to delete the messages that you do not need.

There is more than one way to delete messages from a mailbox.

Option 1 - Delete all messages from a mailbox.

While in the appropriate mailbox (in this case, the In-box), click "Edit" from the menu. Click on "Select". All of the messages should now be highlighted. Press the "Delete" key on your keyboard to delete all of the highlighted messages.

Option 2 - Deleting a range of messages (ex. 1-20).

Click on the first message that you want to delete. Hold down the "Shift" key on your keyboard.Scroll down to the last message that you want to delete and click on it. All the messages in that range should now be highlighted. Release the "Shift" key. Press the "Delete" key on your keyboard to delete all of the highlighted messages.

Option 3 - Deleting a group of messages(ex. 1,3,5,7,14,30, etc.).

Click on the first message that you want to delete. Hold down the "Control" key (the "Ctrl" key) on your keyboard. Click once on each single message that you want to delete.Release the "Ctrl" key. Press the "Delete" key on your keyboard to delete all of the highlighted messages.
