don’t want to switch to Outlook 2007, what are my options.
Unfortunately, when we make the final
conversion to Exchange in 2008 you will have to be running Outlook 2007 or using
Outlook Web access to benefit from the enhanced features. TSS will
discontinue support for email clients other than Outlook 2007 and Outlook
web access at that time to insure all users are compatible with each other.
Why are we migrating to
Microsoft Exchange?
Shared calendars allow users to share
scheduling details and even search for available times for all meeting
attendees.
Integration of email, calendar and
possibly voice mail will allow access to all these services anywhere a
computer is available.
VWCC management of email services will
allow a more customized approach to our needs, including mailbox sizes, spam
filtering, etc.
