Retirement practices are the responsibility of the department or division from which the employee retires. Division or department heads may make recommendations to the President if any commemoration is appropriate.  Retirement receptions should be held on campus so that as many employees as possible will be able to attend. The college will provide some funds to defray the cost of the reception.
